About
Audio editing should be as easy as opening a file
Audiolar is a free set of browser-based audio tools for people who just need to trim a clip, convert a voice note or make a song louder, without installing software or handing their files to someone else's server.

Why was Audiolar built?
Audiolar was built because everyday audio jobs should not need an upload. Most free audio sites ask you to send your file to a server, wait in a queue and then download a result that sometimes carries a watermark. For a 20 second voice note that is a lot of friction, and it leaves a private recording on someone else's computer. Modern browsers can decode, edit and encode audio themselves with the Web Audio API, so Audiolar does the work on your own device instead. That keeps the tools fast and private, and it is why they can stay free to use without an account. The goal is simple: trim a clip, convert a voice note or make a song louder in a few steps, with nothing installed and nothing sent anywhere. You can also listen to the result before you save it.
The tools are grouped into editing, converting and enhancing. There are 18 in total, and each has its own page that explains the steps, the settings and the limits in plain language.
The pages are written in English, German, French and Swedish, because a useful tool should not be one language only.
What we promise
Who builds Audiolar
Audiolar is an independent browser project. There is no separate company inbox and no server that receives your audio or your contact form. The note you type on the contact page stays in your browser.
