Privacy Policy

Effective date: 10 October 2026

The short version

The audio files you open in Audiolar are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to us. We do not run an account system, an analytics product, or an ad network on this site. A host that serves the pages may keep ordinary connection logs. The contact form does not transmit what you type.

On this page

1. Your audio files

When you use a Audiolar tool, the file is read and processed by your own browser using the Web Audio API. The file and the result are not sent to our servers, and we cannot access, store or listen to them. When you close or reload the page, that data is cleared from the page memory. If you choose Server mode on noise reduction, the file is sent only to the address you type, which is meant to be a program running on your own computer.

2. Information a visit creates

Audiolar does not ask you to create an account and does not set its own analytics or advertising cookies. Opening a page still makes a normal web request.

  • Hosting logs: the machine that serves the site may record IP address, time, URL and browser type for security and reliability.
  • Contact form: name, email, topic and message stay in your browser. They are not transmitted.
  • Microphone: the mic test uses your microphone only after you allow it, and only in that page.

3. How information is used

Page requests are used to deliver the site. We do not sell personal information. We do not use the contact form as a mailing list, because we never receive it.

4. How long it is kept

Audio is not kept by Audiolar, because Audiolar does not receive it. How long a hosting provider keeps connection logs depends on that provider. Data you type into the contact form lives only until you leave or reload the page.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data a service holds about you, and to complain to a data protection authority. Because the tools do not collect an account or your audio, there is usually no Audiolar profile to request. Questions about hosting logs belong to the provider that serves the site.

6. Children

Audiolar is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA, and it does not ask for their personal information.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
